Notes and Events:
The Whispering Waters Sangha is a community of people in the North Carolina high country that come together twice per month in Boone to practice meditation, share insights and support each others’ mindfulness and meditation practices.
Our main gathering is on the second Friday of each the month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m at the Boone Healing Arts Center. We have also recently begun meeting on the fourth Sunday at Mountain Pathways School from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm. At the Sunday meetings, there is a potluck afterwards, so please bring an item to share if you can.
This sangha is not tied to any particular Buddhist tradition and newcomers are welcome to join us for sitting and walking meditation, dharma group discussions, kirtan and other Buddhist practices.
