The purpose of Belmont Zen Center is to provide a venue for residents of the Upper Ohio Valley to learn about and practice the Buddhadharma, as transmitted through the Korean Taego Seon tradition, and to represent the values of the Buddhadharma to the larger community through public witness and social action.
The Center offers weekly morning and evening services, monthly mini-retreats, training in Seon practices, rites of passage, pastoral care, and opportunities for taking the Precepts through its affiliation with Muddy Water Zen Temple in Royal Oak, Michigan.
