This center is a Bhikkhuni Order in USA , under the guidance of Ven. W. Piyananda,the abbot of Dharma Vijaya Buddhist Viraha who is a well known scholar. We follow and practice the oldest version of the Buddhas teaching in the Theravada tradition. We welcome all Buddhists of all schools : Mahayana, Vajrayana , Zen .... and non-Buddhists people , young and adults who wish to learn Buddhism.
We hold a "3 day retreat", " meditation classes", " Dhamma classes", "observance 10 precepts" on the last weekend of every month from Friday 8PM to Sunday 5PM. We celebrate all religious events: New Year , Vesak , Kathina, Vu Lan , Full Moon...
Monks and Nuns available to teach at this center are very knowledgeable and fluent in many languages : English, Vietnamese, Pali, Singhalese, Burmese, Japanese and Hindi.

I am a Myanmar Theravada Buddhist nun who did my Ph.D in India. Now I have opened a Buddhist society - LUMBINI BUDDHIST SOCIETY in Singapore.
I teach the original Theravada Pali text and the traditional Myanmar Buddhist Culture.
